OTC is delighted to announce that we have been granted UKAS accreditation for calibration of luminance meters at 2856K.

We have always believed in the importance of quality and were the first to gain UKAS accreditation in the field of fibre-optic calibration, 25 years ago! Since then we have continued to diversify our accredited activities with UKAS accreditations in areas including electrical, ultraviolet and illuminance (lux) meters.

As part of our continuous improvement objectives we have invested in new equipment and are now able to offer UKAS calibration as standard on most luminance meters. Calibration will normally be at standard points within our accredited range of 1 – 20000 cd/m2 although custom points within this range are available on request.

Luminance meters are used in many areas including display testing, medical and NDT light box measurement and transport lighting, signalling and signage testing. With a UKAS accredited calibration from OTC you can relax in the knowledge that our quality systems and technical procedures have been audited and approved by experts in the field.
